Electric Vehicle (EV) Grants

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) offers grants to income-qualifying individuals for the purchase or lease of a new or pre-owned EV, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), or fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). EVs and FCEVs are eligible for grants of up to $7,500 and PHEVs are eligible for grants of up to $7,000. Applicants may also be eligible to receive a grant of up to $2,000 for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charging station.
