Legislative Session Information

The Arizona Legislature meets annually from mid-January to late April. The governor must sign or veto legislation within five days of transmittal or it becomes law without signature. If legislation is transmitted during the last five days of the session, the governor must act within 10 days of transmittal or the legislation becomes law without signature.
