EV Charger Incentives Residential: $400 rebate for Level 2 charging station. Commercial: Rebate available for 20% of installation costs up to a maximum of $1,000 for workplace chargers. Partnering with software firm EVmatch for pilot project to create “AirBnB” for EV chargers. Private charging station owners can loan out their charger and set up availability and pricing in an app. Drivers will then use the app to reserve and pay for charging. Building owners approved for the program will get a free charger. 25 chargers were made available. For each additional charger installed that is made available during business hours (9am – 5pm), building owners will receive $500.
