Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Pilot Authorization

LAVTA was authorized to conduct a pilot to test shared AVs, without a driver in the driver’s seat, that are not equipped with a steering wheel, brake pedal, or accelerator. The AVs must operate at speeds of less than 35 miles per hour at all times, and can only be tested within the City of Dublin.
