Large-Scale Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Planning and Siting Grants

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) offers grants of up to $2 million for large-scale renewable energy planning and siting projects, including EV charging infrastructure, through the Renewable Energy Siting through Technical Engagement and Planning (R-STEP) Program. Eligible applicants include state-based collaboratives, which state energy offices and universities are encouraged to lead. For more information, see the DOE R-STEP website.
