All local agencies, political subdivisions, or other entities must facilitate the proper operation of AVs in Utah. AVs are motor vehicles equipped with automated driving systems technology that allows vehicle automation to perform the entire driving task on a sustained basis. AVs must follow all applicable federal and state traffic and motor vehicle safety, insurance, accident reporting, titling, and registration laws and regulations. Other conditions may apply.
