TAMMIE BOSTICK: Utah Clean Cities and Communities is a U.S. Department of Energy-designated coalition in the Clean Cities and Communities partnership to advance clean transportation nationwide. Utah Clean Cities—along with seven Intermountain Clean Cities Communities partners—spearheads the largest corridor collective in the country, aiming to connect eight western states through electric vehicle-ready corridors. Now in its second phase, we’re creating a seamless travel experience between and to national parks and scenic byways for EV drivers. We’re connecting key corridors with interstates to ensure that DC fast charging is available so that EV owners can reliably charge their cars and get to national parks and destinations with peace of mind. Improved access to charging and newly built infrastructure benefit the region, rural communities, national park visitors, and anyone traveling by EV through the mountain west.
