Heavy-Duty Vehicle Hydrogen Use Tax Credit

Taxpayers may receive a tax credit of up to $1 per kilogram for the use of clean hydrogen in hard-to-decarbonize qualifying applications, including heavy-duty vehicles, aviation, and industrial heating. Clean hydrogen is defined as hydrogen that is derived from a clean energy resource or uses water as the source of the hydrogen.
