Reduced Registration Fee for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Fuel-Efficient Vehicles

New EVs are eligible for a reduced vehicle registration fee of $36 for their first two years of registration. Registration fees per weight class will then apply, and EVs may subtract 1,000 pounds from its manufacturer’s shipping weight to determine its registration weight class.
