Low-Income Electric Vehicle (EV) and EV Charger Rebates: El Dorado County

The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District (EDC AQMD) Driving Clean Assistance Program (DCAP) provides financial incentives to lower-income residents for the purchase or lease of eligible EVs, hydrogen fuel cell EVs, plug-in EVs, and zero emission motorcycles. Eligible applicants may receive up to $10,000 when scrapping an older, operational vehicle, or up to $7,500 without scrapping a vehicle. In addition to the vehicle rebate, participants may receive an additional $2,000 bonus to install a home Level 2 EV charger or a $2,000 prepaid card to use at public EV charging stations.
