Alternative Fuels in Fleets Program

Nevada authorizes the Nevada State Board of Agriculture to adopt regulations establishing alternative or additional required identifications for ethanol flex fuel, biodiesel, and biodiesel blends used on advertising media, pumps, or dispensers. Owners or operators of fuel dispensing sites must:

• Ensure each pump or dispenser displays or is labeled with required information identifying the fuel type in accordance with federal specifications and state labeling rules.
• Post a sign or label at unattended fueling sites that contains specified fuel information.
• With certain exceptions require advertising mediums, pumps, and dispensers for ethanol, biodiesel, and biodiesel blends to identify the fuel type and display labeling consistent with applicable federal law (including fuel rating identification).
