Vehicle and Engine Data Collection Methods

To maintain the Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Search tool, the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) gathers information about alternative fuel vehicles, engines, and power sources for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles from specifications posted on websites of original equipment manufacturers, as well as information provided by vendor and OEM representatives. The vehicles and their specifications are updated as new models are released and/or changed. NLR conducts a comprehensive update of this database biannually based on newly released or updated vehicles.

  • Vehicles listed are complete vehicles from the OEM.
  • Engines and power sources are available separately for vehicle integration. Check the manufacturer for compatibility.
