Low Carbon Fuels Fund

The North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) may award low-carbon fuels incentives to ethanol production facilities for eligible capital projects that increase plant efficiency and reduce the carbon intensity of ethanol production. Awards may cover up to 50% of eligible project costs that may include carbon dioxide capture and storage, beneficial use of carbon dioxide, energy-efficiency enhancements, and ethanol-yield improvements.
