Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Requirement

Any local government is prohibited from requiring the installation of EV charging stations, designated EV parking spaces, upgraded electrical conduits, or other related infrastructure in new building construction plans. Cities and counties cannot impose EV infrastructure mandates, and any existing local ordinances requiring EV infrastructure in building plans are preempted and superseded.
