Legislative Session Information

The Idaho Legislature meets annually from early January to mid or early April. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within five days of transmittal (except Sundays) or the legislation becomes law without signature. The governor must act within 10 days after the date of adjournment or the legislation becomes law without signature.
