Manufacturer Direct Sales Authorization for Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs)

A vehicle manufacturer or distributor may only sell vehicles directly to consumers if it only sells AFVs, does not have a franchised dealership in Maryland, and meets specified cross-ownership limits. AFVs include all-electric and non-fossil-fuel-powered vehicles.
