Plug-in Electric Vehicle (PEV) Promotion and Coordination

The Illinois Electric Vehicle Advisory Council (Council) was established to investigate and recommend strategies that the governor and the general assembly can implement to promote the use of PEVs, including potential infrastructure improvements. The Council published recommendations in its Final Report. An Electric Vehicle Coordinator serves as the point of contact for related policies and activities in the state.
