Notes: California had approximately 1,256,646 and Florida 254,878 light-duty electric vehicle registrations in 2023. The chart is cut off at 250,000 to make it easier to see the other states.

This chart shows the vehicle registration counts of all-electric vehicles by state as of December 31, 2023. California had the greatest number of vehicles at approximately 35% of vehicles nationwide.
