Source: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Overview for Renewable Fuel Standard
This chart shows the yearly RFS volume requirements set in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA) for each renewable fuel category. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) updates volume requirements each year based on fuel availability. For revisions to the yearly RFS volumes, see EPA Regulations and Volume Standards. Legislated volumes were through 2022. In forward years, EPA will establish volume requirements.
